Report: Ben Roethlisberger Rated Third Best QB In NFL
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Where does Ben Roethlisberger rank amongst all NFL quarterbacks?
This seems to be an ongoing debate for Pittsburgh Steelers fans and one that seldom has an answer.
As Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com writes, there's at least one analyst out there who has the Steelers' signal caller rated in the top three of the league.
Elliot Harrison of NFL Media recently released his Top 10 NFL quarterback rankings and has Roethlisberger behind only Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers and New England's Tom Brady.
The reason for the high rating for Roethlisberger, according to Harrison, is the huge season he had last year, which was one of the best of his entire career.
Roethlisberger threw for 4,952 yards with 32 touchdowns and just nine interceptions on his way to a quarterback rating of 103.3.
Roethlisberger also set league records last year when he became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw six touchdown passes in back-to-back games.
