Red Wings Sign Chris Conner
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Chris Conner has decided to leave the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Conner is going back home to Michigan to play for the Detroit Red Wings.
The speedy winger has signed a one-year deal with the Wings.
In 60 games last season with the Pens, Conner recorded a career high 16 points.
Conner is a perfect 3rd or 4th line player because of his speed and his work ethic on every shift.
The Penguins were 39-14-7 85 points (.708) with Conner in the lineup. Without him, they were 10-11-1 21 points (.477)
