Red Cross Helping Victims Of Storm
GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- The Red Cross is lending a helping hand to the people in Westmoreland County in the aftermath of Wednesday's severe weather.
Officials say the local Red Cross and the Salvation Army Western Pennsylvania Division are distributing food and cleanup supplies.
Also, two shelters have been set up for victims of the storms. There locations are:
- Adamsburg Volunteer Fire Department: 495 Edna Road
- Hempfield Township Municipal Building: 1132 Woodward Drive
If you'd like to help those affected by the storm, you can make a donation to the local disaster relief fund at the Westmoreland County Red Cross.
- Mail a check to: 351 Harvey Ave., Suite B, Greensburg, Pa. 15601. Write "Westmoreland Relief Fund" in the memo portion of the check.
