Qadry Ismail On NFL Penalties For Hits: "There's No Real Uniformity"
Baltimore Ravens color analyst and former NFL Wide Receiver Qadry Ismail joined Seibel and Starkey on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to help preview the Steelers-Ravens game on Sunday night, as well as discuss the many flags and fines the Steelers have faced this year.
According to Qadry, there's no real uniformity when it comes to the way the league is penalizing different plays, and that's what it most likely leading to all of the confusion amongst the players and fans.
It's not just the Steelers either that are puzzled by these calls. Qadry told the guys that the penalties are just as confusing in Baltimore after Terrell Suggs was penalized on a completely legal hit against Bengals Quarterback Carson Palmer.
When it came to breaking down Sunday's prime time matchup between the two teams, Qadry focused on each team's wide receivers saying the Steelers have the explosiveness, while the Ravens have the veterans that will beat you in chunks, rather than on one big play.
