Pulled From The Rubble: A 9/11 Survivor's Tale
PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) -- Genelle Guzman-McMillan was the last confirmed survivor pulled from the wreckage of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. She is the author of Angel in the Rubble, which recounts her experience buried among the ruins at Ground Zero.
She was working on the 62nd floor of the North Tower when the first plane collided with her building. Guzman-McMillan was soon buried beneath debris when the tower collapsed, and spent 27 hours trapped between two large pieces of concrete, unable to move anything other than her left arm.
NewsRadio 1020 KDKA's Mike Pintek talked with Guzman-McMillan about the Sept. 11 attacks and asks her about her experience trapped in the wreckage.
Guzman-McMillan discusses what that day was like, as well as the impact the experience had on her worldview and her faith.
