Pittsburgh Police Arrest Man During Protests In Oakland

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A protester was arrested in Oakland on Saturday afternoon.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, a man was arrested on charges of obstructing highways and other public passages.
Just before 5 p.m. Pittsburgh Police arrested a male during the protest.
He faces a charge of Obstructing Highways and Other Public Passages.

Public Safety says the man was arrested by officers in plainclothes in an unmarked Pittsburgh Police vehicle.
Matthew Cartier is charged with Failure To Disperse, Disorderly Conduct, and Obstructing a Highway.
Late Sunday night, Mayor Bill Peduto tweeted that "he has ordered Chief Schubert & Director Hissrich to fully examine operations taken by Pittsburgh Police and by the individual arrested." Peduto also said that once video and transcripts have been reviewed, concerns will be addressed on Sunday.
