Proof That Philadelphia Is Jealous Of Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - In Pittsburgh, we believe that Philadelphia forgets that there is a western half of Pennsylvania- they say we're just a mid-west town, call us "Little Pittsburgh," and despise our sports teams. It turns out, some of that animosity we feel from our brother city might be jealousy.
Joe DiStefano, columnist at the Philadelphia Inquirer, wrote a scathing column about how he couldn't believe that PNC decided to build their new skyscraper in Pittsburgh, and not Philadelphia. He argues that Philadelphia is the bigger city and more deserving of PNC's building, and made tongue-in-cheek comments about Pittsburgh- read his article here.
