Powerball Jackpot Grows To Record $550 Million

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The record Powerball jackpot has grown to $550 million and it has many dreaming of what they would do with the money.

However, it's no secret that the odds of winning the jackpot are against you. In fact, the actual odds of having all five white balls and the red powerball are roughly 1 in 175 million.

Now, you can improve your odds or even guarantee that you'll win the jackpot by just buying up all the combinations. Of course, the only way you could do that is to have $350 million on hand.

Picking numbers above 31 decreases your odds of sharing the prize, but it does not increase your odds of winning.

This record jackpot started with a drawing on Oct. 6 and no one has won for 15 straight drawings.

The winning numbers will be drawn tonight at 11 p.m.
