Power Still Out For Many Residents After Storms
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Power is still out for many residents across the area following Wednesday's severe weather.
As of 2:30 p.m., Allegheny Power was reporting more than 3,505 customers still without power in Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland counties.
Last night, nearly 15,000 customers were left in the dark by the aftermath of the storms.
Authorities say the hardest hit areas were 1,649 in Westmoreland County, 917 in Fayette County and 883 in Washington County.
Crews are continuing work to restore power.
