Power Outages Reported In Wake Of Storms
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Another round of storms has knocked out power for thousands of residents in the Pittsburgh area.
Duquesne Light reports that only 50 customers are still without power as of 6 p.m. Saturday. Most of the outages were in the East End of Pittsburgh and eastern suburbs.
That's down from 11,000 earlier Friday evening.
They hope to have everyone's power back on 11 p.m.
Allegheny Power had about 1,600 customers in the dark with the majority in Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland and Fayette counties.
