PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Emergency crews were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash, involving a school van, Monday morning in Banksville, possibly caused by the winter weather conditions.
The crash was first reported around 7:15 a.m. on Potomac Avenue, near Bellingham Avenue and Banksville Road.
A total of three vehicles were involved, including a maroon-colored school van and two other cars.
The school van reportedly slid down Potomac Avenue.
There were two occupants in the van at the time, but no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh Public Works road crews have been out since 6 p.m. Sunday salting, treating and plowing the roads. Snow began to fall during the evening hours, causing slick driving conditions. There were 48 trucks out across the city overnight.
