Popcorn Warehouse Shut Down By Health Department
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The health department has shut down a local popcorn shop.
Pittsburgh Popcorn Warehouse on Josephine Street in the South Side was closed for operating without a health permit.
Inspectors also found live and dead mice there.
Not only that, they say the building is in disarray, with black mold on the walls, and peeling paint on the ceiling above food equipment.
The FDA is also investigating.
Through their lawyers, the Popcorn Warehouse says they are in the process of addressing the issues.
