Police: Vandals Damage Ice Sculpture, Take Donations
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Police in State College report that vandals for a second time have damaged downtown ice sculptures that attract donations for a local event.
Police suspect that about $300 was taken from a sculpture that holds cash donations for the city's First Night activities on New Year's Eve.

Lt. Brad Smail tells The Centre Daily Times the estimated loss is based on the tally raised a year earlier.
Police say the vandalism was reported Friday and Saturday.
