Police Seek Woman In Greene Co. Bank Robbery
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- State police are asking for the public's help in identifying and finding a woman wanted in the robbery of a bank in Greene County.
The robbery happened just before 5 p.m. at the First National Bank in the 900-block of North 88 Road in Dry Tavern, Jefferson Township.
According to state police, the suspect handed the teller a note that said she had a gun and wanted money. The teller gave her some cash and the woman then fled the scene.
Investigators say no gun was shown or seen during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white female, with a clear complexion, thin to medium build and standing between five-foot-six and five-foot-eight,
She was wearing a knit hat, a scarf, gloves, a dark jacket and large dark sunglasses.
No one was injured during the incident.
