Police Seek W. Va. Man After High-Speed Chase Leaves 2 Adults, 1 Child Hurt
WASHINGTON, Pa. (KDKA) -- State Police are looking for a man who they say led them on a high-speed chase through two states with a child in his vehicle.
According to police, 27-year-old Terry Watson of Moundsville, West Virginia, managed to get away on foot after crashing his vehicle in Washington County.
The chase began in West Virginia around 1 p.m. Police say when Watson crossed over the state line into Pennsylvania, West Virginia state troopers ended their chase.
Pennsylvania State Police say Watson then continued eastbound on Interstate 70 in West Alexander, but when he tried to exit the highway on an off-ramp, he lost control and crashed into a guiderail.
Two other adults in the vehicle, along with a 2-year-old boy all suffered minor injuries. They were taken to a hospital in West Virginia for treatment.
Meanwhile, the search continues for Watson.
He is described as a white male, about six-feet tall and was wearing a blue jersey with yellow and white lettering.
Police say he will face charges and the investigation continues.
