Police Seek Suspect In Rochester Vandalism

ROCHESTER (KDKA) -- From flat tires to egged and spray-painted houses and defaced traffic and municipal signs, the evidence is widespread.

The vandalism seems to center around four or five blocks in the community and the damage points to someone with the initials D.B.C.

Tom Barber's garage doors were on the hit list and it was recent.

"This is about a week old. My wife went up to go to work around 5:30, and when the door came down she saw it had been done," said Barber.

Rochester Police say the vandalism has been going on since last summer. Several suspects have been brought in, but no arrests have been made.

The streets targeted are East Madison, Maryland Avenue, Reno, Adams and Jefferson.

Some homeowners have been targeted several times.

Rev. Bobby Wilson told KDKA's Brenda Waters he feels as if he has been vandalized and tormented.

"Most certainly yes, we are up in the middle of the night now trying to figure out what is going on, what's happening in the neighborhood, looking out of our windows," he said.

Wilson and his wife, Ashley, are uncomfortable in their own living space.

"This is the third time our house has been egged and our tires got slashed on our SUV," Wilson said.

Rochester Police ask if you have any information about this to give them a call at 724-775-1100.
