Police Seek Help To Identify CVS Armed Robbery Suspect
WASHINGTON (KDKA) - Police in Washington County are asking for the public's help to identify a man who robbed a pharmacy in Washington County.
According to police, this incident happened at the CVS in Washington around 5 a.m.
A lone white male approached the pharmacy counter and showed a handgun in his waistband.
He handed a note to the pharmacist demanding pills such as oxycodone and Percocet.
The suspect got away with about 1,000 pills with a street value of about $40,000.
However, this may not be the first time the suspect has held up the store.
"This is the second robbery. We feel this guy is the guy who did it five weeks ago. Same place, same M.O., handed a note, same language in the note. So, we feel like he did the same thing five weeks ago. So, we feel that he's probably from at least western Pennsylvania," Det. Dan Stanek said.
If you see the suspect, do not approach him and call police.
