Police Searching For Coraopolis Robbery Suspect
CORAOPOLIS (KDKA) - Police in Coraopolis are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store early Thursday morning.
According to police, the incident happened at the Uni-Mart at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Main Street around 2:30 a.m.
A man allegedly walked in and demanded cash. However, he did not have a weapon, but the clerk complied and handed over an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect did leave fingerprints at the scene and police are also reviewing surveillance video of the incident.
Moon and Coraopolis Police initially set up a perimeter, but it was unsuccessful.
The store is back open and while the clerk was shaken up, she was not injured.
