Police Search For Suspect Behind Butler, Lawrence Co. Robberies
BUTLER COUNTY (KDKA) – Police are looking for a man who held up convenience stores in Butler and Lawrence counties.
Police have released surveillance footage from one of the robberies, in hopes someone can help them find the suspect.
The first robber happened at Book's Market on Route 19 in Scott Township, Lawrence County.
Video shows the man with a hoodie and blue bandanna on his face, putting his gun on the counter and demanding money.
The second one happened in Muddy Creek Township, Butler County. A man matching the same description walked into the store, waited patiently and demanded money from the clerk.
He later ran into the woods.
He didn't get away with much money in either robbery.
He's described as a white male in his early 20s, 5 feet 6 inches to 8 inches tall, thin build and wearing a blue bandanna and black sweatshirt with a gold emblem on front.
Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
