Police Search For Person Of Interest After Masontown Homes Robbed
FAYETTE COUNTY (KDKA) – Masontown home invasions terrified the residents as the suspects pistol whipped their victims before escaping.
Monday, police say they have a person of interest they need the public's help finding.
It was just before 4 a.m. when four armed men stormed into 613 North Water Street in Masontown.
They demanded drugs and cash during the Jan. 14 incident, then brutally pistol whipped three men living inside.
The investigation continues with law enforcement wanting to locate 23-year-old Keith Johnson.
Johnson, who's been arrested a few times for burglary and assault, is considered a person of interest.
In addition to allegedly beating the three men inside the home, police say the suspects threatened to kill a 4-year-old child in the house as well. Police say the four men also kidnapped a man, forcing him to his own residence, robbing him, driving to an ATM machine to withdraw cash before final releasing him.
Johnson, who is considered a person of interest, is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 215 pounds.
The three men who were pistol whipped and the child who was threatened are all OK. Anyone with information about Johnson's whereabouts is asked to call Masontown Police.
