Police Respond To Car Fire, Find Man Dead
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a finding a man dead when responding to a call about a car fire in Mercer County.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to a car fire call around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, but found the body of 58-year-old David Dignall by the car on Hallibaugh Road in French Creek Township.
Dignall was found with a single gunshot wound, which the Erie County Coroner determined to be the cause of death.
Police say Dignall and the car were both partially burned.
No word on a suspect or motive.
The investigation is ongoing.
