Man Dead After Shooting In Aliquippa
ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (KDKA) -- A man is dead after a shooting in Aliquippa.
Early Tuesday morning, state police identified the victim as Richard Jackson, 31.
Aliquippa Police were called to the scene on Cooper Street shortly after 7 p.m. Monday night. They found Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A neighbor told KDKA she ran out of her house to try and help Jackson, who was lying in the street after he was shot.
"I heard three gunshots and I jumped up, and I first looked out my window and I thought I heard a car screech off," neighbor Stephane Griffin said. "Nothing else I could really do. It hurts."
KDKA's Pam Surano Reports:
Griffin said Jackson was shot at least three times, including in the neck and chest.
State police stated early Tuesday morning they have numerous leads in the case, but they did not identify a suspect.
