Police: Man Exposed Himself, Used Hidden Cameras To Video Under Girls' Skirts At Library
BEAVER, Pa. (KDKA) -- Police have arrested a Lawrence County man accused of both exposing himself, and using hidden cameras to capture video of girls in a Beaver County library.
Suspect Preston Sager, 47, of New Castle, is facing open lewdness, resisting arrest and indecent exposure charges.
Police say their investigation started with a phone call from a library employee in Beaver County a few weeks ago, who reportedly saw Sager exposing himself in the library.
"They said the gentleman had no pants or clothes on beneath the waist," said Officer Jeff Wijnen-Riems, of the Beaver Police Department.
Police say library employees saw Sager again last Saturday. Officers were called, arrived at the scene.
Officers say the suspect took off. When they got him to the police station, he agreed to allowed detectives to look at a computer he had in a bag.
"He had about 30 videos of our library," said Officer Wijnen-Riems. "He would stick a camera underneath the desk that he was sitting at, across from somebody and videotape their private parts, their stomach, their legs, women with skirts on. Some of the pictures were young girls, you could tell by the clothing."
Detectives say once confronted, Sager admitted to lewd behavior.
"He said, 'I have a problem.' He said, 'I had no clothes on, I was trying to get her attention," Officer Wijnen-Riems said. "I said, "You are going to be arrested for that." He said, "Okay, do what you need to do.'"
Police say Sager has no prior arrests.
