Police Make 1 Arrest In Donora Home Invasion
DONORA (KDKA) -- A late night home invasion in the Borough of Donora in Washington County has led to one arrest.
Kyle Fisher, 29, is facing a long list of charges including robbery, burglary and criminal conspiracy.
Police say Fisher and another man - identified as Algin Youngblood - are accused of breaking into the home of Teddy Wagner and his pregnant girlfriend late Thursday night.
The suspects escaped with about $100, but not before Wagner put up a fight.
Wagner told KDKA-TV Friday night, "One of the robbers had a gun to my girlfriend's head, after they forced their way in through the front door."
Wagner explained that he tackled one of the suspects in the bathroom, but his [Wagner's] hand slipped off the gun, and it misfired.
"When I felt the second suspect put a gun to the back of my head, I knew the fight was over, just give them what they want and let them go," Wagner added.
He said his girlfriend is still shaken up by the incident, and refuses to come home until "everything cools down."
Donora police said when the suspects tried to drive off in Fisher's car, they went through eight stop signs and side-swiped four parked vehicles before jumping out and running off.
Youngblood has not been arrested.
