Police Investigating West End Robbery At Gunpoint

WEST END (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a person was robbed at gunpoint in the West End early Thursday morning.

According to police, the incident happened after two men left the adult club "Controversy" in the 1600-block of West Carson Street around 4 a.m.

The suspect met the victim inside the club and the two conversed throughout the evening. The suspect offered to give the victim a ride to a friend's house on the South Side.

While in the car, the suspect pointed a gun at the victim's head and said, "Give me all your money."

The victim complied and handed over his wallet, which the suspect removed all the money from and then returned the wallet.

The suspect made the victim get out of the car on East Carson Street and took off.

The suspect is described as being a 28-year-old African-American with a ponytail and sequins shirt.
