Police Investigating Vandalism At Latrobe High School

LATROBE (KDKA) - An apparent senior prank at a Westmoreland County high school has crossed the line.

Someone spray-painted "Seniors" and "Seniors '11" across the front of Latrobe High School.

The vandalism was discovered Monday morning on windows, pillars and signs. Much of it was able to be cleaned up.

School officials said activity like this is not a prank and will not be tolerated.

They released a statement saying:

"Building principals discovered the vandalism Monday morning. State Police were called and a report was filed. The majority of the paint was able to be removed by our maintenance crew. We are working with State Police to investigate the incident and plan to prosecute those involved to the fullest extent."

State Police are handling the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Greensburg barracks.
