Police Investigating North Side Shooting
NORTH SIDE (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a shooting that took place on the North Side late Sunday morning.
According to the Department of Public Safety, officers received reports that a man had been shot in the 200-block of East Ohio Street and responded to the scene around 10:40 a.m. Police activity was reported at the Allegheny Commons East apartment complex.
Police say the victim, a 25-year-old man, was shot multiple times while he was driving and crashed into an unoccupied, parked car. The victim got out of his car and ran to another vehicle to ask the driver for help. The citizen drove him to Allegheny General Hospital. He is reported to be in stable condition. His identity has not yet been released.
Police have not released any information about a potential suspect at this time.
