HIGHLAND PARK (KDKA) - Pittsburgh police are investigating after a body was found under an SUV in Highland Park early Friday morning.
It's now believed a man was working on his car when it rolled and dragged him down the alley.
"I was sleeping and I heard the scraping on the fence so I didn't pay it too much attention and then I heard a moaning sound from a man," a neighbor said.
A man was pinned underneath a dark blue SUV. According to the medical examiner, the victim has been identified as 58-year-old Keith Hutchinson.
"And then I didn't hear him anymore and then I heard the girl screaming and she was hitting her head over at the garages and going crazy," the neighbor said.
Detectives worked for hours under large spotlights, while forensic investigators removed the body on a stretcher.
A towing company hauled the SUV away from the area.
"I was the one that called police...so she had to keep me on the phone to try to calm me down - I didn't know the body was under the car though, I didn't know that -- I knew something tragic was happening," the neighbor said.
The neighbor says the woman lived with the victim across the alley and she watched police take the screaming female away from the scene.
