Police Investigate Separate Shootings In Knoxville, Homewood
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 17-year-old was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after a shooting in Pittsburgh's Knoxville neighborhood.
Witnesses say at least nine shots were fired in the 100-block of Knox Avenue.
The victim was hit in the abdomen.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post=Gazette, witnesses said the suspect was riding a bicycle.
Meanwhile, police are also investigating another shooting in Homewood.
Officials say a 20-year-old man was sitting on the steps of a home in the 7200-block of Kelly Street when he was shot in the stomach.
Police say they found eight bullet casings on the scene.
The victim ran for help and collapsed on Hamilton Avenue. He was taken to the hospital.
