A Violent Night: Pittsburgh Police Investigating Three Incidents And Two Shootings
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - It was a violent night in the city of Pittsburgh.
There were multiple incidents, including two shootings.
The most recent one: a woman found dead in Manchester.
It was just before one Friday morning when police discovered the woman outside on Bidwell Street. A public safety spokesperson says she had significant head trauma.
A medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
In East Liberty, police had roads shut down to investigate a shooting along North Highland Avenue. This happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night.
A car was shot up at the intersection of Broad and Larimer streets. Officers found a man inside shot in the leg. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
And then earlier, in the city's Homewood neighborhood, there was a shooting there. We had this as breaking news on KDKA News at 11.

It happened in the area of Frankstown Avenue and North Braddock Avenue.
Two people were shot, one died.
"When they arrived on scene, they found two victims, one pronounced deceased at the scene from gunshot wounds and a second victim a juvenile male was taken to hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the thigh," said Cara Cruz, Pittsburgh Public Safety Spokesperson.
In that shooting, officials say four were taken to police headquarters for questioning.
