Police: Woman Fatally Stabbed In Brighton Heights
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a woman was fatally stabbed Wednesday night in Brighton Heights.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Verner Court.
According to police, the suspect ran away before police got there, but officers were able to track her down and take her into custody. She is now being questioned.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sources say the victim was the suspect's mother and it happened after the two got into a fight. They say the suspect's young daughter may have witnessed the stabbing.
There's no word yet on the victim's or suspect's identity.
