Police Charge 3 In Aliquippa Rape Case
ALIQUIPPA (KDKA) -- A man and two teenagers are facing charges for allegedly breaking into a house in Beaver County and raping a woman at gunpoint.
Investigators say the attack happened earlier this month, but two of the suspect just turned themselves in to police. The other was already in jail.
It was a night of violence and horror for the woman who was visiting the home in Aliquippa on Aug. 11.
Three men broke in, burglarized the place, terrorized the victim at gunpoint, and then took off in a stolen SUV.
According to the criminal complaint obtained by KDKA, the victim told police as one of the suspects was sexually assaulting her; another went through her drawers and ransacked the bedroom.
Michael Guin, 19, and Malakai Helencamp, 17, surrendered to police separately.
Matthew Larue, 17, of Tarentum, was arrested after the attack. Investigators say he was driving the stolen vehicle.
All three are facing a long list of charges, including rape and robbery.
