Police Car, Paramedic Vehicle Crash In Strip District
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A police officer and two EMS workers were injured in an accident Saturday afternoon in the Strip District.
The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. at Liberty Avenue and 26th Street. A police cruiser and paramedic vehicle collided there.
According to Pittsburgh police, the officer was heading to the scene of a fatal shooting in Pittsburgh's Hill District when the collision happened.
Police say the officer and two EMS supervisors were taken to a local hospital for treatment. They have been listed in stable condition.
