Polamalu Practices For 1st Time In Weeks
PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) - After being honored by his teammates earlier this week, Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has now practiced for the first time in three weeks.
The development leaves his status for the Steelers game in Cleveland on Sunday uncertain.
Polamalu has missed the last two games with a right Achilles' tendon injury.
The team's medical staff says they want to see how he responds to Friday's practice before deciding whether he can play Sunday.
Polamalu was selected this week by his teammates as the Steelers' most valuable player, the first time in his career he was chosen.
He also was picked for his sixth Pro Bowl.
