Polamalu Named AFC Defensive Player Of Week
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Steelers safety Troy Polamalu is adding to his resume that at the end of the season could include NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
For the second consecutive week, Polamalu has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Polamalu's interception for a touchdown Sunday sparked the Steelers to 23-7 win over Cincinnati.
He also picked off the Bengals' Carson Palmer at the end of the game to seal the victory.
Polamalu now has six interceptions and is only one behind league leader Philadelphia's Asante Samuels of the Eagles.
