Pizza Delivery Driver Held Up While Stopped In Traffic
FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect after a pizza delivery driver was held up while stopped in traffic in Washington County.
The robbery happened Wednesday night in Fallowfield Township at the intersection of Freemont and Dairy Roads.
The driver, from Double M's Pizza, pulled up to a stop sign behind a '90s-model, black Honda Civic.
A second later, someone pulled out a gun and demanded money.
"He stopped at a stop sign, another guy got out of a car, gets in front of him or behind him with a gun and robbed him," said Richard Merlo, a neighbor.
The driver was not hurt.
He was on his way back to the shop after a delivery.
Authorities describe the suspect as an African American male, standing at five-foot-seven with a thin build. He was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
