Pittsburghers Relieved Presidential Election Campaign Finish Line Is In Sight
BELLEVUE (KDKA) -- In Bellevue on Monday night, with the campaign for the White House nearing an end, there was one thing people were generally in agreement about - that the campaign was almost over.
In the past 24 hours, both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump made stops in Pittsburgh, trying to rev up their bases and get their supporters to go the polls.
At Lincoln Bakery, Rayne Stiger said she just turned 18 and will be voting in her first election.
"It's sad. This is my first time to vote, and the [election campaign], I think now is pretty much a joke," she said.
Most people believe the campaign has been often unpredictable, and certainly more negative than previous presidential campaigns.
Chuck Fisher, who was buying cookies at the bakery, said, "I'm tired of all the TV commercials, and all [the candidates] do is pick on each other. You really don't know who is telling the truth."

Maryanne Kirscher, of Ross Township, was eating dinner at Bellevue's Rusty Nail Restaurant.
Kirschner told KDKA-TV's Ralph Iannotti, "The campaign has been ugly on both sides."
Her husband, Jim Kirscher, said, "I think I know who I'm going to vote for, but it's rough."
Restaurant owner Joe Elbicki said, "It's time for the campaign to come to an end. I'll be so glad when 8 o'clock comes Tuesday night."
The polls in Pennsylvania on Election Day will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
