Pittsburgh Weather: Heat advisory issued for area Wednesday
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - High temperatures and very high humidity levels are prompting a heat advisory for Wednesday.
With high temperatures in the 90s and dew points in the 70s, the heat index, also known as the "feels like temperature," will reach into the triple digits!. The heat advisory is in place from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Heat and humidity combinations like this can quickly become dangerous if you don't take precautions. If available, staying in air conditioned spaces would be the best scenario. If they are not available, try to seek out Pittsburgh's cooling centers.
There will be another First Alert Weather Day on Thursday for the potential of strong to severe thunderstorms that are expected to develop along a strong cold front. That front will bring very comfortable conditions to the weekend.
