Pittsburgh Under Fire Warning
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Although many people might be happy to see winter snow and slush go away, the dry weather brings about a new problem: fire.
The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning until 9 p.m. due to wind and "low relative humidity for fire weather zones."
Our region is also expected to get winds between 15 and 20 miles per hour – with additional gusts of up to 30 miles per hour.
The NWS cautions that if any fired occur, they could spread rapidly.
Additionally, officials warn against burning outside.
