Pittsburgh Promise Exec. Director On Franco
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- With Franco Harris voluntarily stepping aside as the board chairman for the Pittsburgh Promise, Saleem Ghubril, the executive director of the scholarship program, came to his defense while talking with NewsRadio 1020 KDKA's Robert Mangino.
Ghubril talks with Mangino about Mayor Luke Ravenstahl's call for Harris to resign, and tells Mangino that the Pittsburgh Promise board agreed unanimously during a meeting Thursday night that Harris should stay, without a single member calling for him to step aside.
