Pittsburgh Police: 9-Year-Old Boy Safely Located

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Police say a 9-year-old boy who was reported missing was found safe hours later.

Terik Smith Jr. had last been seen around 4 p.m. Wednesday in the city's Homewood South neighborhood.

At 8 p.m. Wednesday, Pittsburgh Police provided an update that Smith was located.

Police didn't say where he was found, but said he is safe.
