Pittsburgh Missed By Blizzard, Warmer Temperatures Coming
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – While the Northeast may be buried under several feet of snow, the weather in Pittsburgh will continue to get milder.
The light snow and overnight flurries will taper off today, giving way to clear skies and warmer temperatures in the coming week.
"We're going to see a complete end to the light snow showers that we had overnight," KDKA's Jon Burnett said.
High pressure will continue to make its way toward us, bringing in warmer temperatures.
Light rain showers are expected Monday, with temperatures reaching the 50s.
"A warm-up is on the way and it's just around the corner," Burnett said.
But a cold front will return by Tuesday, bringing temperatures in the 20s and 30s and flurries are expected in the later part of next week.
"No major time snow storm in sight, no big arctic outbreak in sight either … not bad for early to mid-February, can't complain," Burnett said.
