Pittsburgh Air Quality Improves
Pittsburgh's air quality has improved dramatically over the past year, according to a survey by the American Lung Association.
Pittsburgh topped the list of cities with the worst air quality for the past two years. The American Lung Association's annual "State Of The Air" report now lists the Pittsburgh area third on the list of the nation's worst air quality, behind Bakersfield and Fresno, California. According to the report, Pittsburgh is one of sixteen metropolitan areas to report their lowest levels of particle pollution ever in this year's study.
