Pitt's Paul Chryst Looks Ahead To Final Big East Game
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Pitt head football coach Paul Chryst joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to preview Pitt's season finale against South Florida.
Chryst said that his players are starting to feel the end of the season coming on, and that you could see their intensity growing in Pitt's win over Rutgers.
"You'd hope there's a little more of a sense of urgency," Chryst said. "I feel like we're better. We had to battle that first quarter, but guys just kept playing."
He pointed out that it's now or never for these guys, with the season wrapping up and Pitt needing a win to be bowl-eligible.
"There's so many things that, if guys aren't motivated by that, they don't have a pulse."
He also broke down South Florida, and offered a number of assorted updates on his Pitt team as it heads into its final Big East game ever.
The Panthers visit South Florida this Saturday at 7 p.m., a game that can be heard on 93-7 The Fan.
