Pitt Panthers vs. USF Preview
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Pitt will look to remain atop the Big East standings when they visit league foe USF at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday.
The Panthers (5-4, 3-1 Big East) are looking to stay ahead of a pack of four Big East teams with two conferences losses.
A victory at USF (6-3, 3-2 Big East) would make Pitt bowl-eligible for a third consecutive season. In 2009, Pitt defeated North Carolina 19-17 in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.
Pitt is 10-6 over its last 16 road contests, but their average margin of defeat is only 4.7 points.
The Panthers are 25-11 over their last 36 games, which is the program's winningest stretch since the 2001-04 seasons.
