Pitt Football Suspends Titus Howard For 2014 Season
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Pitt football head coach Paul Chryst announced that sophomore defensive back Titus Howard has been suspended for the 2014 season.
As part of the suspension, Howard will remain with the program and participate in practice but will not be allowed to play in any games.
Howard played in 11 games last year, his freshman campaign, totaling 21 tackles and two pass breakups.
Since Howard played his freshman year, the team will likely use a redshirt on him this year, making him a redshirt sophomore next year.
