PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A standout senior defensive tackle for the Pitt Panthers added another award to his resume Monday night.
Aaron Donald was awarded the 2013 Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which is given to the "nation's most outstanding defensive player."

"All of the other finalists are unbelievable players and I feel blessed to be here with them this evening. On behalf of my coaches, teammates and family, I want to thank the Charlotte Touchdown Club and Football Writers for selecting me the winner of the Bronko Nagurski Trophy."
Donald had previously been named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year as well.
During his career at Pitt, Donald racked up 28.5 sacks. This year alone, Donald recorded 10 sacks and 26.5 tackles for a loss.
The Pitt Panthers will take on Bowling Green in the Little Caesar's Bowl on Dec. 26.
