Pitt, PSU Beat Writers Break Down The Pitt Coaching Search
Pitt Beat Writer Paul Zeise and Penn St. Beat Writer Ron Musselman, both of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, talked to John Seibel of Seibel and Starkey on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to discuss the Pitt Head Coaching search and Tom Bradley's candidacy.
Paul Zeise said at this moment, Pitt does not have their guy, but that's not to say that they haven't identified who they want for the job. The search this time around is very different than the first search which brought in Michael Haywood. Paul also added that the search committee is now made up of more members of the University of Pittsburgh than just Athletic Director Steve Pederson.

When it comes to the reported leading candidate for the job, Tom Bradley, Ron Musselman told us that you don't have to look any farther than the last three to four years at Penn St. to see what kind of offensive philosophy he would bring to Pitt since he has been running the Penn St. program over that period of time. If Bradley were to get the Head Coaching job at Pitt, Ron believes that he will bring multiple Penn St. assistants with him, which will shake up that program as well. Ron's gut feeling on Bradley is that he has coached his last game at Penn St., whether that means he gets the job at Pitt or UCONN, we'll have to wait and see.
