Pitt Analyst Talks Pitt-Virginia Tech, NFL Quarterbacks
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Pitt Football Color Analyst Pat Bostick joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN for his weekly in chat in which we talked about the upcoming Pitt matchup with Virginia Tech.
Bostick talked about the Panthers inability to stop the run this year and how that could be troublesome for them this weekend and said "they've got to tackle. They've missed a lot of tackles, and that won't do will against this Virginia Tech team."
One of the major concerns for the Panthers this season has been their Quarterback play, and while Trey Anderson is listed as the backup to Tino Sunseri on the depth chart, Bostick isn't so sure we wouldn't see Freshman Chad Voytik if the team decided to go in a different direction.
Being a former college Quarterback, Bostick stuck around with the guys to breakdown the QB matchup we'll be seeing this Sunday at Heinz Field as the Jets bring Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow to town.
Bostick said the Jets situation is interesting with Tebow breathing down Sanchez's neck, but Sanchez rose to the occasion in week one leading his team to a victory.
Bostick would not be surprised though if Tebow sees more playing time this week given how much the Jets struggled running the ball the conventional ways against Buffalo last week.
