Pirates Sign 16-Year-Old Colombian Outfielder
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Pirates have come to terms with a teenage Colombian outfielder.
According to a report on MLBTradeRumors.com, the Pirates have signed 16-year-old Harold Ramirez, who will receive a signing bonus of $1.05 million.
The 5-foot-11, 175 pound outfielder received the second-highest international bonus the Pirates have ever given.
The Pirates gave a $2.6 million signing bonus to Luis Heredia in August.
